Training Programme Overview:
Programme: JMPD Metro Police Training 2025
Duration: 18–24 months (subject to departmental structure)
Stipend: Monthly allowance provided during training

Minimum Requirements:
South African citizen (with valid SA ID)
Age between 18 and 35 years
Grade 12 / Matric certificate
No criminal record
Physically and mentally fit
Willing to undergo medical and psychometric assessments
Valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
Committed to completing the training and joining law enforcement
Duties After Training:
Enforce traffic laws and by-laws
Maintain law and order within the City of Johannesburg
Ensure public safety during events and emergencies
Assist in crime prevention operations in partnership with SAPS
