SAMHS MSDS Application 2025
The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) has released the official Military Skills Development System (MSDS) application forms for the 2025 intake. These forms are available for the following branches:
South African Army
South African Navy
South African Air Force
South African Military Health Service (SAMHS)

Important Information:
Closing Date: 28 June 2025
Notification: If you have not been contacted by 31 December 2025, please consider your application unsuccessful.
General Requirements:
Must be a South African citizen (no dual citizenship)
Age between 18 and 22 years (with Grade 12) or up to 26 years (with a tertiary qualification)
No criminal record
Medically and physically fit
No visible tattoos (on legs, lower arms, neck, or face)
Application Process:
Download and complete the appropriate application form for your chosen service branch.
Attach certified copies of your ID, Grade 12 certificate (or statement of results for 2024), and any tertiary qualifications.
Submit your application as per the instructions provided in the form.
