Junior Industrial Engineer (PO)
Requirements
– A BSc or BEng in Industrial Engineering
– Relevant experience
– A valid driver’s licence
Key Performance Areas
– Develop a comprehensive understanding of operational
business processes, systems and practices across City
directorates, departments and functions.
– Identify and implement business improvements across the city.
– Design, reinvent and innovate business operating models
that aligns with industry best practices.
– Identify, analyse and develop opportunities into
comprehensive business cases with an emphasis on
efficiency gains, cost savings, improved quality and / or
customer service and present to business stakeholders in
order to formalise into a prioritised project
– Design, establish and operate the implementation programs
– Ensure that key performance measures are identified
for opportunities and monitored after implementation
– Cultivate objective working relationships with all
stakeholders ensuring their input is heard, and their
buy-in is achieved
– Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant municipal
legislative amendments, industry best practices and
relevant technology
