Truworths has annual Graduate Internships available for all graduates who are willing to be part of Truworths.
The Programme is largely driven by the individual and takes anything from 2-3 years to complete. You are however a permanent employee from the start of the Programme and there are also promotional opportunities along the way.

As it is an individualized programme, we will assess your experience through an in-depth interview process and establish a suitable level and depth of the programme for your training

Work experience can add great value to your application. “TRANSFERABLE SKILLS” are developed when you do part-time work. What you learn in one job may end up being the stepping stone to the next great career opportunity in your life. A working student builds networks, gains confidence in abilities, and demonstrates responsibilities, strengths, and work ethic.
We do not offer job-shadowing at our Head Office due to the confidential nature of our business. If you would like to learn more about retail at an operational level, we would strongly encourage you to gain experience as a sales floor consultant (flexi) within the retail sector.
Bursaries and internships are made available annually based on the scarce skills list provided by the SETA and will be advertised on our social media pages and career site.

The interview process can vary per candidate. There are several technical and soft skill interview levels depending on the role you have applied for as well as your skillset and competencies.
The team strives to communicate with successful and unsuccessful candidates throughout the process on a weekly basis.
Start dates are negotiated individually based on each candidate’s individual circumstances.
