Job Summary
Studio-88, one of the largest retailer of Branded Clothing and Footwear in Southern Africa, is seeking an Assistant for our Studio Online Store
Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily order fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy of material and product items in responsible department. This may include cycle counts as required by the inventory manager.
- Handle all returns, exchanges and refunds as necessary and keeping accurate record of items lost in transit by providing cost invoices and credit notes.
- Maintain a tidy and well-organized stock storage system.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ensure continual quality improvement by working with customer service to incorporate appropriate customer feedback in the operational processes.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 – Senior Certificate.
- 1-2 years experience in a retail sales environment.
- Previous experience in a retail environment, especially in clothing stores, will be advantageous.
- Experience in providing support to the sales team, such as restocking apparel, folding and organizing clothing, and maintaining a clean and orderly store environment.
- Proficiency in handling cash, processing transactions, and using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Inventory Control: Familiarity with stock control procedures, including restocking shelves, organizing stockrooms, and conducting spot checks.
Skills required
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential for providing excellent service to clients, assisting with inquiries, and resolving customer issues.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Ability to suggest complementary products or upsell to customers.
- Have a good understanding of clothing products, brands, sizes, and fashion trends to assist customers effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and management.
- Time Management
- Customer Relationship Management: Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
