Job Description
Managed People Solutions is looking for a Driver for an exclusive homeware Company based in Randburg to join their team as soon as possible.
Job Purpose
To provide timeous deliveries and collections on behalf of the company.
Responsibilities
Preparing trip documents and other reports relating to deliveries on time
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete
Assist with loading and unloading of items from vehicles
Delivering items to customers safely and timeously
Ensure vehicles are cleaned and serviced regularly
Ensure all delivery documents are completed accurately and PODs signed by customers
Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
Maintain a log-book at all times
Report any defects or accidents immediately
Complete tasks within a specified time
May be required to assist with any other duties that may be outside scope of responsibility
To work well with all levels within the company and to be professional when offering these services
Ensure that the experience and interaction between themselves and others are of a positive nature
Presentable and neat
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions and handling complaints from clients
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Requirements
Grade 12
Code 10 Valid driver’s license
Valid Professional Driving permit (PDP)
Clean driving record
Valid Passport
Experience
Minimum of 3 year’s experience
Driving skills in rural areas across SA provinces will be an advantage
