South Africa’s economy is under a lot of talk in the country right now as the 15th August 2020 is the last day of the Disaster Management. The problem the country is facing right now is all about opening the economy fully as a lot of sectors have experienced great loses including people who also experienced job loses.
More than 3 million South Africans have lost their jobs since the lockdown started on the 26th March and now more millions of people under the tobacco and breweries are going to lose jobs if the economy and their sectors are not allowed to trade as soon as possible.
With the country set to move to level 3 of lockdown, the president of the country Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to brief South Africans no later that Sunday the 16th August 2020 as people cannot wait any longer to hear what is going to happen to their jobs and their businessses which have suffered a lot under lockdown.
The country is now managing the spread of the coronavirus as new positive cases have dropped daily and some of the temporary hospitals which were prepared for the virus are permanently closing down.
