Position:Permanent Security Officer
Location:Vaal University of Technology
Employment Type:** Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
– Monitor and patrol campus premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
– Enforce rules and regulations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on campus.
– Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
– Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
– Maintain security logs and incident reports, ensuring accurate documentation of all events.
– Conduct access control for visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Be registered with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority).
– Previous experience in a security role is desirable, but not essential.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
– Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
– Must be physically fit and capable of performing security duties.
