Job AdvertWe are looking for an individual that will ensure efficiency of the business operations and accurate reporting on the financial performance of key business initiatives. QualificationsEssential • Degree or National Diploma in Finance or equivalent. Preferred • Preference will be given to a newly qualified article clerk or likewise in a Finance and/or Accounting function.
Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceJOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE OF: • Acquainted in the dealing with Banks and Financial Institutions • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles • Understanding of the retail environment SKILLS REQUIRED: • Experienced with Budgeting, Forecasting, Margin Analysis and Management Reporting • Be able to work independently, as well as be a team player • Microsoft Packages (Specifically Excel – Intermediate) Powerpoint and Micrsoft Word. • Analysis of financial figures • Attention to detail • Accuracy • Assertiveness • Solve problems and make decisions • Build relationships and influence across all levels and functions • Show initiative • Be Self motivated and take responsibility • Have a sense of urgency • Meet tight deadlines • Work independently, as well as be a team player • Plan, organize and manage their time effectively • Present a presentation effectively EXPERIENCE: Essential • 3 – 5 years relevant experience in a large corporate company or in the retail/financial/commercial industry. Preferred • Preference to previous experienced or familiar with cost management accounting.
Key Responsibilities• Financial management and budget administration. • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of performance metrix and SLA’s to management • Stock planning and control • Ensuring compliance of internal and external processes • Manage communication. • Adhoc project management /co-ordination /administration
