ARMY INTAKE APPLICATIONS – VACANCIES

Application Process:
Applications must be submitted using the official Z83 application form, which can be obtained from any Public Service Department office or downloaded from the DPSA website: https://www.dpsa.gov.za/newsroom/psvc/.
Only the Z83 form effective from 01 January 2021 will be accepted. Submissions using outdated or incorrect forms will be disqualified.
The Z83 form must be originally signed and dated by the applicant.
Applicants must include a detailed CV outlining their training, qualifications, competencies, knowledge, and experience.
Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications and other relevant documents on or before the interview day. These documents must be no older than six months.
Important Guidelines:
Failure to comply with any of the above requirements will result in disqualification.
Applicants applying for multiple posts must submit a separate Z83 form and CV for each position.
If an applicant wishes to withdraw their application, it must be done in writing.
Applications indicating more than one post on a single Z83 form will be considered only for the first post listed.
Photocopies or faxed copies of applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates will undergo Personnel Suitability Checks, including criminal record, citizenship, financial/asset record, and employment and qualification verifications.
A security clearance process will also be conducted.
Appointment level will depend on qualifications, experience, and research output.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete two pre-entry assessments: a practical exercise and an ethical exercise to assess overall suitability.
All successful applicants will be appointed on a 12-month probation period, subject to the relevant rules.
