Responsible for stewarding safe, reliable, efficient and incident free operation of the process units on the refinery area to meet the requirements of the operating plan.
Responsible for stewarding execution of MOC process for plant related changes and facilitates IRA for MOCs.
Responsible for stewarding implementation and closure of Process Safety Management (including PHA, MOC, audit) action items.
Responsible for stewarding prioritization and maintenance of safety critical equipment (SCE) as required.
Responsible for reviewing and analysing deviations that lead to alarm activations.
Stewards process safety performance with the production area, stewards ZERO metrics and SIS deviations
Participates in PHA studies for the area.
Participates in and conducts process safety investigations for the refinery area. Develops and implement plans to share incident learnings.
Participates in risk assessments for bypassing safety devices.
Coordinates and participates in third party process safety or insurance audits within the area.
Conducts Safe Work Practice audits for the area.
Coordinates and conducts safeguard verifications as well as conducts compliance audits.
Tracks and monitors process safety performance with the production area, stewards ZERO metrics and SIS deviations.
Minimum Qualification and Certifications:
BSc, BTech or ND in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
5 years refining experience in either SHEQ, Operations, Engineering or R&M departments
