  • Directly accountable for achieving broadband ,PABX and fibre sales revenue and sales connection targets by actively hunting for new business within allocated sales segments to consumers, small and medium businesses. Proactively cold calling, emailing and meeting prospects and build rapport to ensure successful closing and reaching targets. Ensure effective management of portfolio of allocated customers and ensure planned regular contact with the customers. Adhere to planned calling cycles to ensure effective coverage of all customers while ensuring business operations requirements are met in the form of required training, meetings and report submissions. Meet and exceed set revenue targets by cross selling and upselling of products and services in focus to the portfolio of customers. Ensure improvement of customers’ experience, CLM and Net Promoter Score is in line with agreed business plans. Maximize relationship building opportunities with customers and improve the image of the segment our client.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Direct Sales- Understand the addressable market. Utilize knowledge of the region to exploit business sales opportunities. Run sales campaigns and promotions, in accordance with the business sales strategy.
  • Sales pipeline management – ensure healthy pipeline to close off monthly sales targets.
  • Sales Target Management – achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual goals by selling to new business customers using face to face engagements.
  • Solutions Based Sales – understanding customer needs and tailor products to fullfil the need of the customer.
  • Develop territory & sales plans.
  • Lead generation to close off sales plans monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Quality insights and quality check of documentation for orders and obtaining the necessary signatures.
  • Competitor Activity.
  • Relationship Management – Responsible for developing customer relationships in order to drive the sales process (demand generation through to opportunity closure).
  • Analyse the territory and determine the value of prospective customers.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy.
  • Manage accurate commitments and sales pipeline.
  • Cross sell of lines to potential business customers.

Daily Feed Activity​​​​​​

  • Daily engagement with sales team to discuss sales targets and sales output
  • Groomed correctly, uniform and presentable as per guidelines.
  • Daily, weekly feedback sessions to line management on activity and sales performance
  • Align with Manager and Single Point of Contact on strategy and daily tracking

Daily Reporting Tasks

  • Complete the daily sales tracker and Sales Pipeline reports with defined timelines and accurate submissions of weekly reports including presentation of pipeline.

Sales Targets

  • Facilitate the order and quotes and fast track the sales orders.
  • Meet monthly minimum target as set out to earn commission.

Required Experience and Qualification

  • 3-year Degree / Diploma (Desired)
  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) required
  • Minimum 3 years plus of experience in ICT or telecommunications sector
  •  Preferably: Valid driver’s licence, own transport
  • Direct Sales experience
