Candidate Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

* PSIRA Grade A registration & accreditation

* 5 Years minimum experience in a Security Control Room

* Must have Control Room Management experience 2 – 5 years

* Knowledge of CCTV, guarding & armed response control centres

* Must understand and have extensive Listener experience as well as Auto dispatcher

* Must have a good understanding of dispatching

* Knowledge of Base Radios, Two Way Radios and Repeaters

* Management experience

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

* Computer Literacy (MS Office), Listener

* Easy Roster an advantage

* Articulate and able to communicate on all levels – face to face, telephonically and e-mail

* Must be fluent in English and excellent writing skills.

* Excellent Listening Skills required

* Planning & Organisational skills

* Customer care, client liaison and relationship building skills

* Excellent telephone etiquette

* Good report writing skills

* Good ability to compile and update SOP and Job description

* Be able to handle pressure and stay cool, calm and collective under stressful situations

GENERAL:

* RSA citizen

* Valid unendorsed drivers licence
