Job Description

 

Routine analysis and inspections according to Work Instructions to:

• Evaluate cleaning methods in the blending area

• Release blended product according to the specification (SOP)

• Calibration of all measuring equipment according to work instructions and first line problems of faulty equipment

• Chemical analysis according to procedures and sensory evaluation of all blended product and final release for production

• Determination of amount of ingredients that must be added according to work instruction to ensure that product conform to specification

• Sampling tanks for microbiological analysis, as well as sampling routinely

• Monitoring CIP by inspection and testing / Tank for exceeding holding time

• Perform hygiene and GMP audits and report findings / internal audits.

• Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports when required.

• Conduct method validation and comply to ISO 17025

• Conduct proficiency testing

• React on bad trends and investigation to be done with QC Manager.

• Raise NCR for all out of specification results and faulty equipment.

• Update NCR register / TEMPO (online system) by 09:00 and ensure the NCR are closed within 24hours

• Enter NCR’s on TEMPO

• Review line inspection sheet

• Stock take on lab consumables

• Familiarize with update procedures / record from transmittals

• Compile weekly and daily report

• Conduct pack checks on request

• Clean area of responsibility and update cleaning schedule

• Familiarise with product and packaging specifications in use

• Ensure shift handover is done daily with the QC

• Conduct monthly procedure reviews

• Back up for Team Leaders and Quality Controllers

 

Qualifications/Requirements

• National Diploma in Food Technology /Food Science

• 2 Years relevant experience
