About Us:
Global Airways Lithuania
• is the European airline of the Global Airways Group;
• holds a Lithuanian (EASA) AOC;
• has a fully functioning EASA Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO);
• is carrying out commercial passenger air transport services;
• provides continuing airworthiness management services to other airlines.
CAMO
• is responsible for the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft;
• plans and oversees the maintenance of the aircraft;
• ensures that aircraft remains airworthy during operations.
Position Details:
The CAMO Data Capturer
• has responsibility for all continuing airworthiness related records and electronic databases;
• establishes, organizes, manages, and keeps current the document archive for each aircraft related to both digital and hard copy documents;
• ensures receipt of all relevant data, files, document etc. from maintenance organizations and other third parties and captures and keeps current such in the Global Airways databases;
• manages and keeps current at all times the aircraft archive, including digitalized and original documents;
• manages reporting to certain third parties.
Note: The incumbent will report to Global Airways Lithuania but will be located at OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg.
Your Profile
Must Include:
• Alternatively one of the following:
• Aviation university degree;
• Part-66 license (or equivalent);
• Engineering degree in aeronautics, electrical, mechanical or avionics or other studies relevant to aircraft maintenance with 3 years’ experience in the aviation domain after obtaining that qualification;
• 2 years’ work experience in aviation domain.
• B1 English or ICAO English level 5.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Reliable and precise working habits.
Would be Advantageous to Include:
• CAM-D experience.
• Airbus A320 and A340 familiarity.
Note:
All applicants will have to undergo an initial assessment prior to employment. Additional assessments will be carried out on a bi-annual basis. This position will require the incumbent to undergo a criminal, background and social media check before employment can be confirmed
