Job Summary:
The Logistics Intern will be responsible for supporting the Maple Park Planning, Quality, and Production teams in supplier-related topics. This includes conducting TQRDC evaluations, following up on SCARs, monitoring contract expiry dates, and escalating issues such as supply delays or price negotiations to the adequate EM&SC contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting TQRDC evaluations of suppliers
- Following up on SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests)
- Monitoring contract expiry dates of suppliers
- Escalating issues such as supply delays or price negotiations to the adequate EM&SC contacts
- Collaborating with the Maple Park Planning, Quality, and Production teams
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics or a related field is required
- No experience required
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: Up to R11,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
